Children will receive two reading books per week from their phonics group and are expected to practise their reading at home daily.

Children will get spellings from their phonics group every Friday to practise at home daily. They will do these at school the following Friday so we can see how well they have learnt them.

They will also receive weekly home learning tasks linked to our learning topics every half term. This is set on a Friday and is due in the following Tuesday. The tasks will all be sent out at the beginning of the half term.

In the Spring or Summer term children will also begin the cracking number programme to practise their maths facts every week.
